From the War Memorial, passing the pub called Goferddan Arms on your left, walk up the lane that you will see towards your left, going up between the houses. After 400 yards, after the tarmac lane has turned into an unsurfaced track, you will see a stile on your right.

Leg 2:  Leg distance 0.1 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN603810
Cross the style and go along the path enclosed by the fence and the hedge. After about 150 yards cross the footbridge and turn immediatel left to walk a further 50 yards along the field boundary to a gate in the left hand corner of the hedge in front of you.

Leg 3:  Leg distance 0.1 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN606809
Turn immediately right after the gate, follow the hedge up and around towards the top of the hill. After 200 yards you will see a stile on your right. Cross the stile and look for the gate in the fence opposite you across the field and the narrow gate which is to its left. If there are domestic animals in the filed consider following the hedge and fence around to the gate.

Leg 4:  Leg distance 0.2 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN607809
Go through the narrow gate and follow the path for 200 yards within the edge of this attractive woodland then through a wooden kissing gate into an open field with a stile 50 yards along in the fence on your right.Cross the stile and walk 100yards downd the left hand fenceline to a gate into the woodl on your left.

Leg 5:  Leg distance 0.2 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN611809
Go through the gate and follow the route 300 yards downwards through field gates turning right down the grassy track to emerge on the tarmacced lane called Conker Lane.

Leg 6:  Leg distance 0.7 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN613809
Turn left to follow this narrow and interesting country lane for something less than three quarters of a mile. When you emerge on to another lane, cross that lane and immediately on your left you will find a stile in the hedge bank with a footpath beyond.

Leg 7:  Leg distance 0.2 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN616819
Follow this footpath the three hundred yeards to Comins Coch. As you enter the village road turn left and after 50 yards, just past the last house on the right, look carefully for a somewhat hidden stile and footpath to take you into a field.

Leg 8:  Leg distance 0.1 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN613820
In the field turn towards the right and make for the bottom hedge 150 yards away, identified as the one crossed by the electricity line. The exit from the field is very difficult to identify unless you are very close to it. Aim for a point in line with the roof of the bungalow beyond the hedge, about 50 yards to the left of the electicity line. The exit is over a stile well embedded int the hedge and down steps, going along the long side of the bungalow to reach a concrete surfaced lane.

Leg 9:  Leg distance 0.2 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN612821
Turn left up the concrete surfaced land and follow it , with its concrete surface sometimesw narrower in places. After 400 yards the lane turns to the left and 100 yards beyond this, where the concreted lane turns right, there is a stile on the left.

Leg 10:  Leg distance 0.5 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN607821
Go through the stile into the field and along the left hand hedge to a gate into a track. Follow the track initially along a woodland edge for about 800 yards, going through an old quarry before eventually emerging on to a road junction.

Leg 11:  Leg distance 0.6 mile(s)   Start of leg GR: SN608815
Cross the road and walk downhill on the pavement or verge for approximately 200 yards until you arrive at a lane going left, signed Lluest. Walk down the lane and through the pedestrian gate at the side of the wide field gates ahead of you which form an entry to the Universitys Equestrian Cenre. Go through the gate and down past the large farm type building at which point look for the unsurfaced track on the left end of the surfaced area. Walk down this path to arrive at you start point in Llanbadarn 1100 yards from the Lluest turn.
